Berndt Group Wins International Summit Creative Award for Arts Every Day Web site
April 27, 2010
BALTIMORE, MD—The Berndt Group, www.berndtgroup.net, a Baltimore, Maryland-based full service interactive agency, announced that it has received an award for its work on the Arts Every Day web site, in the 16th Annual International Summit Creative Awards competition. The Summit Awards recognize companies in the communications industry that go beyond the expected.
The Berndt Group designed and developed a "best-of-breed" web site for Arts Every Day, a nonprofit organization that strengthens learning by making arts education and cultural experiences an integral part of the education of all Baltimore City School students. The Ektron CMS platform was used to develop the web site, along with in-house custom development to provide additional personalization.
Overall goals for the new site included an improved user-experience for educators, parents and art providers, delivering a clear and contemporary brand impression and value promise for Arts Every Day. Building the Programs Directory was a major component of this redesign as it gives Educators access to hundreds of programs, and puts Teaching Artists and Cultural Organizations in touch with the teaching community at large.
"We enjoyed working with Arts Every Day on their web site and
are pleased the Summit Awards recognized our work on the site,"
said John Berndt, President and CEO of The Berndt Group. "We
think the site provides a solid brand and online presence for the organization and is a strong information resource for the community."
The Berndt Group has previously won Summit awards for work on
web sites for the Contemporary
Museum, Maryland
Science Center, Sofi's
Crepes, Maryland
Art Place, Maryland SPCA and the current Berndt Group web site.
