Berndt Group Partners with Loyola University Maryland to Develop a New Web Site
TBG Engineering Site in the Sitecore Content Management System
September 28, 2009
BALTIMORE, MD—The Berndt Group is working with Loyola University Maryland to develop a new web site for the University, implemented in the Sitecore Content Management System (CMS).
The Berndt Group partnered with Loyola on a wide range of activities to support the University's web initiatives, including strategy and CMS implementation. Loyola is a longstanding client of The Berndt Group; we built a Single Source Publishing System application for Print and Web Course Catalogs for the University that undergoes yearly updates. Last March, we completed a CMS selection process for the University and kicked off a CMS implementation project, working closely with Loyola developers to implement the Sitecore Content Management System.
An initial, temporary, HTML version of the Loyola site launched in September 2009, with the full Sitecore-powered site launch to follow. The HTML launch coincided with the unveiling of key elements of the new Loyola University Maryland branding strategy on September 25, 2009. The Sitecore implementation will improve upon the current HTML site by combining the new design with a more manageable platform that will allow for all departmental and affiliated web sites to have a unified brand under one content management system.
John Berndt, President and CEO of The Berndt Group, commented,"We are very pleased to continue our long relationship with Loyola. This project is an example of a high content web site that will benefit tremendously from the value of the Sitecore CMS."
