BALTIMORE, MD—The Berndt Group, a Baltimore, MD-based full service interactive agency, announced today that it has acquired several new clients. New clients include ABET, Inc.; Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson (JMT); and the National Council for Air and Stream Improvement, Inc. (NCASI).
The Berndt Group is working with ABET on a web site development and content management system (CMS) implementation project. ABET, formerly known as the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology, is a non-profit organization that evaluates and accredits post secondary, degree-granting programs in applied science, computing, engineering, and technology fields. ABET is a federation of 29 professional and technical societies that provide the 1,500 dedicated volunteers from academe, industry, and government who participate in ABET accreditation activities each year. Currently, ABET accredits some 3,100 programs at more than 600 colleges and universities in 21 countries, and more than 85,000 students graduate from ABET-accredited programs each year. In addition, ABET provides leadership internationally through workshops, consultancies, and mutual recognition agreements with other technical program accreditors outside of the United States. Core components of ABET's mission include accrediting educational programs and promoting quality and innovation in technical education.
The Berndt Group is also kicking off a web site development and content management system implementation project for JMT, an award-winning, multi-disciplined Architectural/Engineering firm. JMT provides planning, design and construction phase services for transportation, building facilities, environmental, energy and technology projects. In 2010, the firm was ranked #99 among the Engineering News-Record's (ENR) Top 500 Design Firms.
Additionally, The Berndt Group is working with The National Council for Air and Stream Improvement (NCASI) on a web site development and content management system implementation project. NCASI is an independent, non-profit research institute that focuses on environmental topics of interest to the forest products industry. Established in 1943, NCASI is recognized as the leading source of reliable data on environmental issues affecting this industry, and has more than 75 member companies throughout the US and Canada.
John Berndt, President and CEO, commented, "The Berndt Group looks forward to working with each of these organizations. All three projects focus on The Berndt Group's core competencies - strong usability, web design and development services as well as strategic consulting and CMS best practices."
