&description=A Fresh Face for a Local Organization
The Berndt Group worked with the Mount Saint Agnes Theological Center for Women (MSA) through a complete rebranding and web site redesign project. The Center is founded on the Direction Statement of the Institute of the Sisters of Mercy of the Americas: to commit our resources in solidarity with women seeking fullness of life and equality in church and society. The new branding and web site needed to reflect this mission and the goals of the organization.
The rebranding portion of the project involved the development of a new logo for the organization, a style guide, and a comprehensive set of corresponding collateral, including business cards and letterhead. Once the rebranding portion was complete, we moved on to the web site redesign, which involved implementing the site in the Ektron 400 Content Management System.
The CMS allows for fast and easy site updates by Center staff, giving the Center enhanced communication and networking with its constituents and community. The new site features greatly increased usability throughout the site as navigation, breadcrumbs and design give users the context locators the previous design lacked.
We created the ability to register and enroll for programs through a combination of Ektron forms and custom code to allow new programs to be added easily by MSA staff. Program information is then re-used throughout the site, on the homepage and in right side call outs. This enhanced program registration platform that we developed provides better usability and easier management by MSA staff. Additionally, program pricing information feeds into the registration form and can be passed along to PayPal through the custom coding that was added to the registration form. This integration with PayPal allows users to purchase MSA items as well as materials for MSA programs.
